Q.What is the expected life of your non-metallic rack system?
A. The Structure Guard non-metallic rack is an inert product. Life expectancy is unlimited, but conservatively estimated at 30+ years.
Q. What is the cost of the Structure Guard non-metallic rack system compared to steel, stainless or galvanized products?
A. Bare Steel 40% more, Galvanized 10% more, Stainless 50% less.
Q. Have your non-metallic rack systems ever failed?
A. Structure Guard has never had a rack system failure or warranty claim. Our trash racks are site-engineered to the same performance standards of steel racks; i.e., head loss, flow volume, velocity, impact resistance, etc.
Q. What about blade spacing?
A. Structure Guard routinely manufactures our racks with blade clearances between 1" – 6".
Q. What are the advantages of your non-metallic trash racks over steel products?
